Welcome to Red Wolf Farm. Owned and operated by Josh Grant and Dr. Amanda Cline-Grant, we are a family homestead farm with an emphasis on sustainable agriculture. We are located on 45 acres of farmland and forest with a large creek flowing through. Our farm was the site for the Jenny Lind Iron Forge that operated from 1804 to around 1890. Remnants of the dam and large pieces of iron slag from the forging process can still be found in the creek.
We are not a large "production" farm that mass produces one or two main products. Rather, we are trying to live as sustainably as we can by producing as much of our food on our farm as we can. Our animals are hormone and antibiotic free. Our goal is to educate kids on how to live sustainably, the science of farming, and how what they eat affects their health.
We are offering various educational school tours throughout the year. We are also offering a weekend pumpkin patch. The Pumpkin Patch includes a pumpkin, hayride, kiddie corn maze, tractor train ride, farm animals, playground, hiking trails to the creek, and picnic tables.
